Family Martial Arts
Junior Student Of The Month
————————————————————————————————————–
Family Martial Arts have a junior student of the month nomination scheme.
This involves all of our Little Ninja and Junior lesson students trying to earn student of the month. We run the scheme every month and the students can earn nominations by listening, focusing and showing that they are trying hard within their martial arts classes and behaving well.
The students can also gain nominations if they have achieved something within their academic setting or at home, we can hear about these from their parents or guardians.
The scheme can also help with discipline at home or in general by the thought of the student losing a nomination if their behaviour is not as we would expect within their martial arts lessons or if their parent advises that they have not behaved well within their academic setting or at home.
The student that gains the most nominations for the month receives a special certificate and a medal as an achievement prize. Their name is displayed on posters within the school so that all the students and family members can celebrate their achievement with them and aspire to attain nominations in the coming month.
This achievement award helps with motivation and retention in their martial arts classes as well as encouraging them to try harder at school and helping out more at home.
